Recall Update 

Solid Gold Health Products has announced a Voluntary Recall of two batches of its dry dog food after being notified by Diamond Pet Foods regarding the presence of Salmonella in Diamond Pet Foods' South Carolina Facility.  Solid Gold has indicated that there have been no complaints reported regarding their food, however they have decided to take this step as a precautionary measure.

The following products are being recalled:

Solid Gold Wolf King Large Breed Adult Food, All sizes, Best before December 30, 2012, Batch code starting with SGB1201A31X

Solid Gold Wolf Cub Large Breed Puppy Food, All sizes, Best before December 30, 2012, Batch code starting with SGB1201A31X

We are in the process of contacting any of our customers who have purchased these products to advise them of the recall.  If you have any of these products listed, please immediately discontinue using them.

Recall Information

A product recall has been announced for foods processed in the Diamond Pet Food processing facility located in Gaston, South Carolina over salmonella concerns. 

NO PRODUCTS PROCESSED IN THIS PLANT WERE SHIPPED TO OUR STORE.

We do however want our customers to be fully aware of any product lines that are affected by this recall.  Please  for a complete list of products, which include Canidae, Natural Balance and Taste of the Wild, along with several other brands processed in the Gaston, SC plant.  No other processing plants were involved in this recall measure.

The Scrubby Puppy also offers do it yourself dog washing.  We supply the tubs, the shampoo, towels and dryers. Wash your dog yourself, or have one of our great staff members do it for you!!!

Prices start at $10.99 for do-it-yourself dog washing.  Self Dog Wash at The Scrubby Puppy is open 7 days a week.
