We are pleased to announce that Good Dog Naturally and St. Francis Animal Sanctuary have partnered and established a Pet Adoption Center at our store!!!
If you are thinking of bringing a new pet into your family this Holiday Season, please consider adoption first. There are many beautiful and wonderful pets who desperately need a good home. Our goal is to help St. Francis get 100 animals adopted and placed in new homes!!!! Help us achieve our goal.
Our philosophy has always been to support the local rescue groups to find homes for homeless animals. Our store does not carry animals for sale. Our mission is to help animals most in need and provide quality food, supplies and advice to our customers for their precious furry family members.
The St. Francis Animal Sanctuary Pet Adoption center is open Thursday through Sunday. Check out the adorable dogs currently at the center.

Skamp, of “Skip and Skamp” had become inexplicably ill and received wonderful care and treatment at the emergency vet clinic in Mandeville. Many wonderful people helped to defray the cost in treating Skamp which cost nearly $2,000.
We took Skip and Skamp in just before Hurricane Katrina. They were rescued from a chicken fighting farm and were very ill back then. We nursed them back to health and have given them shelter and a safe place to be here at Good Dog Naturally.
We are happy to report that Skamp is doing much better and is slowly being weened off the prednisone he needed to be put on after getting his blood transfusions. He is back with his brother Skip, who missed him terribly and had become very depressed when Skamp was in the hospital. They are happily snuggling up together once again.
